Description

Essential functions for this job include but are not limited to:

Description

Essential Functions

  • Project a positive and professional image while working with staff.

  • Compile inventory information and present it to management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restock, and disciplinary action.

  • Setup of configurations of all new computers
  • Creates and manages the Desktop Images
  • Assists with configuration and set up computer systems and ensures that all systems are available for use;
  • Identifies and communicates potential problems to the MIS/IT Director and helps to develop solutions;
  • Manages Patching software for Desktops and Servers
  • Assists with daily system backups and maintenance of contingency plan to ensure continuity of operations in the event of unexpected interruptions in computer operations;
  • Establishes email accounts and assigns user access and passwords to ensure that only authorized staff can access the financial, personnel, payroll, computer, and online records of the organization;
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; and/or establishing relationships;
  • Prepares and reviews system logs pertaining to employee computer usage and system failure and reports any problems to the MIS Operations Manager
  • Assists with the development of electronic form templates;
  • Creates and updates System Diagrams, Switch, Patch panel and others.
  • Performs any other necessary duties to meet operational, fiscal goals and expectations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field with at least two years of professional experience in computer operations;
  • Must have a thorough understanding of virtual environments, computer hardware and software applications, setup, and maintenance requirements;
  • Possesses physical strength necessary to unload and restock supplies.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • System certification preferred.

  • Develops work instructions and necessary documentation to train associates and sustain manufacturing proficiencies.

Requirements

  • Blueprint reading and GD&T
  • Team coordination and communication skills.
  • Language, writing, verbal communication and computer literacy skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
  • Modeling/drafting experience with Solidworks or similar CAD systems
  • Familiarity with MasterCam, Esprit, Partmaker, or similar CAM systems is a plus
